DHCP Server Settings
From the following article you will get information about DHCP server settings and method used to change DHCP server address.
Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol(DHCP) is an IP standard, which is intended to lessen the difficulty of administering IP address configurations. A DHCP server is set up with the suitable settings for a given network. Such settings contain a set of elementary parameters such as the gateway, DNS, subnet masks and a range of IP addresses. Using DHCP server on a network means that administrators do not have to make up these settings independently for each client on the network. The DHCP server has the ability to automatically share them to the clients itself. You can use DHCP in most large networks to manage IP address very simply. The installation and configuration of DHCP service is simple and straight forward. Before configuring the DHCP service, first you must install it on the server.
