View active network connection
Initially, you need to click on 'Run' option in Start menu. Then type 'cmd' and in the corresponding command prompt window you need to type 'netstat' which displays a list. You can find the list of all IP addresses that are actively connected on your system by typing 'netstat-n'. On typing 'netstat-a', you can find the list containing the names of the network to which your computer is connected. This way, you can view the active network connections.
Manage network connection
To manage the network connection, you need to click on 'Pick a category' option in Control Panel of Start menu. Next, you need to click on 'Network Connections' option. A network connection window will be opened. You can manage the network connection by enabling, disabling or by repairing the network connection. On right clicking the desired network connection, the above mentioned option will be displayed. This way, you can manage the connection by selecting the desired option.
Sometimes, the network connection stops responding. In such cases, you can manage the connection by disabling and then enabling the connection. You can also manage the connection by selecting 'Repair' option which automatically disables and then enables the connection. Thus, by using 'Manage network connection' option you can even troubleshoot the problems that you face with your network connection.
