To set-up a network using switch, first of all connect the switch to the outlet power. Insert the set-up CD of switch into the computer and install it by following the instructions. Connect the switch to the modem using an Ethernet cable. Use another Ethernet cable and connect the switch with the computer. Open the ‘Start’ menu in the computer and open ‘Control Panel’. Now open ‘Network and Sharing Center’ and click on the link ‘Connect to a Network’. Click on the radio button near ‘Wired Network’ and click ‘Next’ button. Locate the network switch and click ‘Connect’. Connect other computers to the switch using individual Ethernet cables. Repeat the above processes on each of the computers.
