Noting network settings
During the configuration process, you have to write down all the ISP network settings from the screen. Some of these ISP settings require hostname or domain name. It should be entered in the DNS setting. You have to enter the IP configuration in the DHCP server. If you enter the correct information, only then would it start its function. IP address can be obtained by clicking on ‘Obtain an IP automatically on a network’.
Using release and renew
While configuring the router, the latter would display an IP address. If it is displayed in the correct format, the router would get an IP address. If the format is incorrect, it can be obtained from the 'Release and Renew' button. By clicking on this button, you would get the correct IP address. You should open the browser and type the correct format of the IP address on the address bar and enter the password for configuring the router.

To configure the router, first you have to connect your computer to the router. This can be done by using a CAT5 cable. At the back side of the router, there are four LAN ports.
