DrayTek® rolls out Firewall Router and Central Management System
The Taiwan-based networking solutions company, DrayTek Corp., has rolled out a new firewall router and a central management system. The products, DrayTek Vigor 2920 and DrayTek Vigor ACS SI, respectively, have been designed to facilitate a safe, secure, and efficient environment at the workplace. Talking about the products, Calvin Ma, CEO of DrayTek Corp., said, “DrayTek transfers the advanced technology to customer-oriented network solutions. We help enhance the productivity within the era of the first-growing broadband world at the affordable budget.”
The DrayTek Vigor 2920 firewall router has been a highly accepted product among small businesses, with features such as, IEEE 802.11n WLAN, 32 VPN tunnels, and VoIP. The company has further enhanced the product by upgrading the firmware version to the latest 3.3.7. Furthermore, it supports Smart Monitor application for more users now — 30 nodes, to be precise — for network analysis. This service can be availed free of charge on the company’s website. The product also provides Multi-subnet feature for the configuration of LAN and VPN backup function, which facilitates an efficient connection of data exchange between the main office location and remote sites.
The newly announced Central Management System, DrayTek Vigor ACS SI allows administrators to efficiently maintain the configuration of devices. These products are going to be showcased next year at the CES, which is regarded as the world’s biggest consumer technology trade show.
