Huawei, who is the leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, has announced the availability of LTE TDD wireless broadband router. This will be the first such device in the world. The router has been named as Huawei B593, which will be commercially available in collaboration with a Saudi Arabian operator called Mobily in the last quarter of this year, most probably in October.
The latest release of Huawei B593 router proves Huawei dominance in the LTE router specialization. It was almost a year ago when Huawei had also released the LTE FDD wireless broadband router in Germany.
According to the head of Mobile Broadband LTE division, Huawei Device, Hu Guangping, "The Huawei B593 provides bandwidth comparable with that of fixed broadband. In addition to the obvious benefits this brings consumers, operators now have the ability to provide superfast Internet access without the need for fixed network infrastructure. This enables operators to expand their subscriber base in a more flexible and cost-effective way..."
Some of the key features of Huawei B593 are listed below:
- Support for LTE TDD and FDD,
- 100M download speed
- Wi-Fi access for 32 devices and desktop computers through Ethernet cable
With the ever-growing need for high-speed Internet, there is a strong demand in the market to have enhanced infrastructure, which includes routers with high upload and download connections. With the launch of Huawei B593router, Huawei will set an example in the industry in terms of creating routers that can provide super fast Internet access.
