Juniper Networks® extends networking portfolio

To ease the management and security of mobile devices accessing the corporate network, Juniper Networks has unveiled a new range of products aimed at the growing BYOD trend.

Juniper’s new offerings include new service gateways, wireless-access points, and advanced end-point security features. According to Alex Gray, senior vice president and general manager at Juniper Networks, “The main objective is to make securing and managing the growing number of mobile computing devices entering the work environment easier for businesses.”

“IT managers are trying to cope with the influx of mobile devices into the workplace,” Gray said in a statement. “Juniper’s holistic approach advances security, simplifies the user experience and expands device support.”

The new products and features in the Simply Connected Portfolio include: Juniper Networks SRX550 Services Gateway, SRX110 Services Gateway, WLA322 and WLA321 Series Wireless LAN Access Points, Junos Pulse Access Control Service/UAC and Junos Pulse Secure Access Service/SSL VPN and updates to AppSecure in the latest Junos software release across the entire SRX Series.
