Like many others, NETGEAR too chose the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) held recently in Las Vegas to showcase the products that the company will be releasing this year. The products seem to be useful as three of them even managed to win the CES Innovations Design and Engineering Awards.
Some of the upcoming NETGEAR products are mentioned below:
NETGEAR has come up with the WN2500RP adapter for a better WI-Fi experience. This product is capable of offering dual-band Wi-Fi on 2.4Ghz and 5GHz bands simultaneously in order to do away with interference to users with different high-bandwidth streaming devices.
The device comes equipped with the FastLane Technology, has four ports, and its installation is quite simple.
Powerline 500 Nano (XAVB5101), NETGEAR's home theatre and the device meant for gaming, converts a power outlet into a network connection. On being inserted into a socket, it offers a speed of up to 500mbps. The energy-saving features of the device are activated when it is not in use.
NETGEAR has also launched its new N900 Video and Gaming 4-Port Wi-Fi Adapter (WNCE4004), which as the name suggests, consists of four 10/100mbps Ethernet ports for audio-visual devices. Lastly, there is Wi-Fi Protected Access along with WEP data encryption.
Smart Network Cloud Application Platform
The Smart Network Cloud Application Platform gives users the facility to buy and download apps from the Cloud so that they can personalize their home network.
The apps that the consumers get will provide them with better capabilities and more control over the devices that run on the NETGEAR home network.
