The revolutionary cloud service is opening new ways to make management more efficient for all kinds of businesses. VoiceHub, a Birmingham-based company is adding new dimensions to cloud service with a convenient business phone service. It has launched a new cloud-based business phone service for small and mid-sized businesses that will help manage and answer their business calls with loads of interesting new features.
The VoiceHub service is an offshoot of IronVoice.com, started by Bill Kervaski a few years ago, who is now the founder and CEO of the company. It is a broadband and virtual phone system for small and mid-sized businesses, which is also positioned on Amazon's EC2 cloud platform.
According to Kervaski, the new VoiceHub service can make a small business look bigger and make them sound more professional. "You don't have to worry about complicated infrastructure or even need an existing phone service. VoiceHub exists entirely in the cloud and will work with your existing mobile phones or VoIP devices," he said. The service answers incoming calls with a preset greeting, uses speech recognition to interpret the caller's request, and connects the call to one or more mobile phone or VoIP devices. It also has to offer many other useful features like voice prompts, call recording, call routing, voicemail, voicemail-to-e-mail transcription, fax, and custom greetings.
This simple and easy to use service is going to be a very useful communication tool for all kinds of businesses. Although it is set to start in January 2012, many companies are already interested in it for its speech recognition feature and its affordable price. It will start at US$ 25 a month for up to 1,000 minutes with an unlimited number of users and extensions. Another plan for 10,000 minutes will start at US$ 199 a month.
