iYogi Scam Alerts Cautions about Online Video Scams
Online video scam puts malware on your computer system, which is uncontrollable, once circulated through malicious web links. These scammers lure victims into installing their fake antivirus software by offering links to sensitive videos related to current events. In reality there will be no such videos and clicking on it will lead you to a website that tries to install fake antivirus software in your system. Sometimes the victims are asked to install the Java or Adobe Flash Player or any such applications in order to watch the video. But the software installed is the fake application.
