TP-LINK TL-WA501G router is a wireless device. The router consists of an antenna that is reverse SMA connector, DHCP server and even wireless roaming. The wireless router can transfer data at a speed of up to 54 Mbps. The router uses 802.11g standard for LAN connection and provides filtering of Access Control List (ACL) and NAT support.
The router makes upgrades in the firmware automatically. The router is helpful in the wireless roaming and supports remote as well as web management for the network connection. TP-LINK TL-WA501G router can be used in small offices and for home networks. The Ethernet ports that are available support game consoles, media player devices and NAS devices. The ports also provide wire connection to the computers available in the network.
TP-LINK TL-WA501G router has a wireless access point with extended range for faster data transmission to a wider range (maximum range of open space being 31 miles) that is two to three times distance coverage than that of traditional range. The router is compiled with IEEE 802.11g/b standard for the LAN connection.
